General Scholarship	Special Research Fellowship
Basic Requirement	Undergraduate students of third grade and over, or graduate students from Asia countries who are studying, at their own expenses, in Japanese universities designated by the Foundation. Scholarship Amount	Undergraduate:\150,000 per month Graduate:\180,000 per month	\200,000 per month
Scholarship Period	Undergraduate and master course student: 2 years Doctoral course student: 3 years	Maximum 5 years

The scholarship program is carried out through universities designated by the Foundation. The applicants must submit applications to their universities, and require the recommendation of the Presidents of their unversities.

The capacity of the scholarship program is 55 students in the general scholarship and 15 students in the special research fellowship.
